predict which side you are going to use and lock cannons on that side with CTRL+X so that when manouvering and looking around you keep the cannons on point.Ģ. i can try help a bit with my own knowledge event though its not easyġ. This is a subject that has a lot of depth. Without the lock-on setting the distance, the game would have only 2 numbers to use for the aim, lacking the third one. But those guns you have to just keep firing and firing and not dying and eventually through sheer volume you will land hits and cause damage. The lock-on is meant to let you have a good aim in a 2D perspective, despite having to hit a target in a 3D environment. She also brawls really well and her AA is pretty nice also. The fast reload is nice though and you can beat the crap out of cruisers if you get close enough or just keep shooting. Yeah Gneisenau can be off putting with the small number of guns. On the other hand, I've made it the Gneisenau in the german line and I'm sitting here with 6 380mm guns with a 1.8 sigma. That said, I've always appreciated the Fuso, and I'm currently going through the french BB line at the Lyon. The more you play a particular ship you will start to get a better feel for the guns.Īh, so it's one of those things, huh? Makes sense since I play mostly cruisers and DDs, where reload times are shorter, meaning wasted shots aren't as impactful. ![]() Originally posted by imrahil2:Also this is something that just takes lot of practice practice practice.
